Dear Participants and Speakers!

The 2nd International School on Practical Cytometry ended on the 30th of August and I hope that you returned with good memories about this Moscow workshop as well as enhanced knowledge on flow cytometry. We had almost 60 scientists participating (90 including academic and industrial speakers) from Russia and other CIS countries in state-of-the art program lectures and seminars. We are happy to announce this year’s poster award winner Alena Yakimenko from Hematology corp. Inc. with her poster “Analysis of the proaggregation capabilities of activated thrombocytes from different populations”. She was awarded with the classic Howard Shapiro book “Practical Flow Cytometry”, 3 ed.
